MASALA डील’ पर कांग्रेस का वार, भारत-अमेरिका व्यापार समझौते को बताया खतरा
नई दिल्ली – भारत और अमेरिका के बीच प्रस्तावित व्यापार समझौते को लेकर राजनीतिक गलियारों में हलचल तेज हो गई है। कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता जयराम रमेश ने इस संभावित डील को लेकर गंभीर आपत्तियां जताईं हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि यह ‘MASALA डील’ दरअसल “Mutually Agreed Settlements Achieved through Leveraged Arm-twisting” का संक्षिप्त रूप है — यानी दबाव डालकर समझौते कराना।
उन्होंने कहा कि इस तरह के समझौतों से भारत जैसे विकासशील देशों के आत्मनिर्भर क्षेत्रों पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव पड़ सकता है। रमेश ने ग्लोबल ट्रेड रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट (GTRI) की रिपोर्ट का हवाला देते हुए कहा कि अमेरिका एकतरफा लाभ के लिए कई देशों पर व्यापारिक रियायतों का दबाव बना रहा है।
GTRI की चेतावनी:
थिंक टैंक GTRI ने भी भारत को आगाह किया है कि अमेरिका के साथ किसी भी व्यापार समझौते को जल्दबाजी में नहीं करना चाहिए। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, अमेरिका इस समय 90 से अधिक देशों से व्यापार रियायतें मांग रहा है, जिनमें से कई ने खुलकर विरोध जताया है।
सरकार पर विपक्ष का हमला:
जयराम रमेश ने सरकार पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि अमेरिका की व्यापारिक नीतियाँ राजनीतिक और मनमानी हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि डोनाल्ड ट्रंप की नीतियों में भारत को मजबूर किया जा रहा है कि वह अमेरिकी उत्पादों को खरीदे, जबकि बदले में भारत को कोई वास्तविक छूट नहीं मिल रही है।
‘मसाला डील’ बनाम ‘मसाला बॉन्ड’:
रमेश ने तंज कसते हुए कहा, “पहले मसाला बॉन्ड हुआ करते थे, अब सरकार मसाला डील में उलझ रही है।” उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि सरकार विदेशी दबाव में फैसले कर रही है, जिससे भारत के कोर सेक्टर — विशेष रूप से कृषि और छोटे उद्योगों — को खतरा है।
दूसरे देश भी कर चुके हैं इनकार:
GTRI रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, यूरोपीय यूनियन, मैक्सिको, जापान, दक्षिण कोरिया और ऑस्ट्रेलिया जैसे देश अमेरिका की कठोर व्यापार शर्तों को पहले ही खारिज कर चुके हैं। इसके बावजूद अमेरिका इन देशों पर भारी टैरिफ की धमकी दे रहा है, लेकिन वे अपने आर्थिक हितों से समझौता नहीं कर रहे।
