अभिनेता और फिल्म निर्माता मनोज कुमार का 87 साल की उम्र में निधन
लंबे समय से बीमार चल रहे थे एक्टर
मनोज कुमार के बेटे ने दी जानकारी
कुणाल ने यह भी कहा कि उनके पिता की सेहत कुछ समय से खराब चल रही थी। दो महीने में उनकी उम्र 88 साल हो जाती। उन्होंने कहा,”वे बहुत खुश थे, हालांकि अपनी उम्र के कारण थोड़े अस्वस्थ थे।” अंतिम संस्कार के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए कुणाल ने बताया कि उनका अंतिम संस्कार कल यानी शनिवार, 5 अप्रैल, 2025 को होगा। अभिनेता के चचेरे भाई मनीष आर गोस्वामी ने भी दुख व्यक्त करते हुए कहा, “यह पूरे देश के लिए दुखद खबर है। देशभक्ति पर फिल्में बनाने का युग आज समाप्त हो गया। यह एक सच्चे भारतीय और सच्ची देशभक्ति के युग का अंत है।”
मनोज कुमार की अंतिम यात्रा कल सुबह 11 बजे उनके आवास से निकलेगी। उनका अंतिम संस्कार मुंबई के विले पार्ले (पश्चिम) स्थित पवन हंस श्मशान घाट पर किया जाएगा।
एक्टिंग के अलावा निर्देशन में भी अपनाया हाथ
मनोज कुमार का जन्म 24 जुलाई, 1937 को एबटाबाद (अब पाकिस्तान) में जन्मे हरिकृष्ण गोस्वामी के रूप में हुआ था। खासतौर पर 1960 और 1970 के दशक में उन्होंने खूब नाम कमाया। उन्हें उपकार,पूरब और पश्चिम और शहीद जैसी देशभक्ति फिल्मों में उनकी प्रतिष्ठित भूमिकाओं के लिए प्यार से “भारत कुमार” के नाम से भी जाना जाता था। अपने राष्ट्रवादी किरदार की वजह से वो घर-घर मशहूर हुए। उन्हें भारतीय गौरव के प्रतीक के रूप में याद किया जाता है।
